The Dogtra 280X (known in Europe as the 640X) is the new generation of the well-loved 280C — an exceptionally compact system with Dogtra's smallest receiver, packed with the advanced features of the X series.

What sets the 280X apart

Compared to the previous generation (280C), the 280X adds a run of advanced functions: an audible tone, powerful XPP vibration, a Boost function for instant stimulation increase, Level Lock safety, a built-in LED light for locating your dog in the dark, a central control button and expansion to up to 3 dogs. All in a compact housing that fits small dogs too.

Who is it for?

Thanks to the compact receiver, the 280X suits dogs from 11 lbs and up — small through medium. Its low-to-medium stimulation range is especially well matched to soft and normal temperaments, basic obedience and light field work. Control range is up to 1/2 mile. Both transmitter and receiver are fully waterproof at IPX9K.
