Every Educator set is a handheld remote plus a receiver on a strap. The models differ in range, receiver size, output and how the remote sits in your hand. Here is how they split.
Which Educator e-collar to choose
- Micro Educator ME-300. Compact, for small dogs, 1/3 mile.
- Mini Educator ET-300. 1/2 mile. The ET-302 is the 2-dog set.
- Educator ET-400. 3/4 mile. The ET-402 covers 2 dogs.
- Easy Educator EZ-900. One-hand remote, 1/2 mile. EZ-902 for 2 dogs.
- Pro Educator PE-900. Programmable remote, 1/2 mile. PE-902 for 2 dogs.
- ET-800 The Boss. High-output, 1 mile. ET-802 for 2 dogs.
- K9-400 K9 Handler. Tactical collar for working dogs, 3/4 mile.
Choose on range, remote style and output. Then start low on the stimulation levels and do proper collar conditioning before the collar goes into real work. The FT-330 Finger Trainer adds a finger button remote, and the BarkLess Pro BP-504 is a bark collar for medium and large dogs.
Parts are listed by model: the RX-090 additional receiver, replacement transmitters, 3.7V LiPo batteries, chargers, 1.75 in or 4 in antennas, comfort pads and titanium contact points from 3/8 in to 1 in. To carry the receiver, use a quick-release e-collar strap. To compare brands, see Dogtra e-collars or all remote dog training collars.
