Herm Sprenger Prong Collar for Belgian Malinois - Black Stainless Steel Click-Lock (Medium, 3.2 mm)

Herm Sprenger Prong Collar for Belgian Malinois - Click-Lock, Medium

Keep your Belgian Malinois focused and under control with the Herm Sprenger black stainless-steel prong collar, engineered in Germany for athletic, high-drive working dogs that pull. Its quick-release Click-Lock buckle delivers clear, humane communication your Malinois reads instantly, spreading pressure evenly around the neck instead of choking the throat like a flat collar or slip lead.

Why a Click-Lock Prong Collar Is Ideal for the Belgian Malinois

The Malinois is one of the most athletic, intense, and driven breeds in the world - the top choice for police, military, and protection sport. That relentless drive means a Malinois pulls hard and moves fast, demanding a precise, instant tool. A prong collar gives this brilliant dog crystal-clear feedback it catches immediately, letting you channel its energy without a tug-of-war. The evenly distributed pressure is gentler and safer than yanking a flat collar against an athletic neck, and the Click-Lock buckle is perfect for the Malinois work rhythm: on and off in seconds between reps, and secure so it never pops open mid-drill. Its light weight never burdens the dog's lean, athletic neck.

Choosing the Right Size for a Belgian Malinois

The medium-to-large Malinois typically measures 40-50 cm around the neck. The 52 cm base covers most Malinois, and you can fine-tune the fit by adding or removing links to match the exact neck circumference.

Safe Fit & Use

Never leave a dog unattended in a prong collar. Open the Click-Lock buckle to put it on - don't pull it over the head. Fit it high on the neck, snug but not tight.
