K9-Industries has run a factory since 1995 and for years made equipment for other K9 brands. This collection sells the materials side of that work to trainers, clubs and small makers who sew their own tugs, pillows, collars and leashes.

What is in the collection

  • Bite fabric: K9 PowerTex French linen by the meter in white, creamy beige, jute tone, olive, tropical green, ocean royal, red velvet, charming pink, pastel orange and sunny yellow, plus black K9 PowerTex NYLCOT.
  • Buckles: Sprenger ClicLock quick-release buckles in 21 mm stainless or black stainless, with a D-ring or with a sliding bar, and a steel bite suit buckle with sliding bar.
  • Snap hooks and stoppers: tactical locking snap hooks in stainless or black stainless, an 80 mm brass swivel snap hook with a 20 mm eye, and an adjustable stainless stopper for slip leashes and collars.
  • Thread: heavy-duty bonded nylon (10s-60s) and 200 m spools of waxed polyester for leather.

Choose hardware for the load it will take. A locking snap hook is the safer pick for a leash that sees protection work, because the gate cannot be pushed open by accident against a collar or a line. The sliding-bar buckles are made for bite suits, the D-ring versions for collars that need a leash point.

For the fabric alone, including color options, see K9 PowerTex French linen fabric. The full hardware range is under K9 tactical metal hardware, and both threads are also listed in premium sewing thread.
