16 ft of range, control the whole way

The tape pays out and winds back automatically and stays under light tension, so it never goes slack and drags. Press the brake with your thumb for an instant stop, or set the permanent lock to fix the leash at whatever length suits the moment. Sizing

Medium covers dogs up to 55 lb. Working breeds sit right at the edge of that range, so a full grown Malinois, Shepherd, or Rottweiler needs the Large. Match the size to the dog's adult weight, not the current weight of a young dog.

Care

Wipe the housing down after muddy or wet walks and let it dry fully before storing. Check the tape and the snap hook periodically for wear, and retire the leash if either shows damage.

Handling note

A retractable leash gives range, not restraint. Keep it locked short around traffic, other dogs, and tight spaces, and let it out only where you have room and a dog that recalls. Read the included handling and safety instructions before first use.
